Well, Hello There! Welcome to my website. I want to start of basic and straight to the point. From the title, I am assuming you are aware that I will talk about horror and how amazing it is. This is my senior project, where I want to elaborate a little more about the history of horror, how it affects us, and why people shouldn't chicken out. I also want to explain that although horror and killing can be fun to see in a movie, or read about in a book, there are remorseless people living amongst us who are capable of doing all those things. To me. To you.
Anyways, enough chatter, I would like to start off with a bit of history. During my research about horror and its origin, I had to find out what the very first horror movie was. The answer is kind of debatable, which is why I included both of these films. The Execution of Mary Stuart (1895) and Le Manoir du Diable (1896) can be considered the first horror movies. It is absolutely amazing to see such historical items! You can see how much horror and film making in general, has come along, and the way they even used special effects. It's all just fascinating to me, and I hope you enjoy it as well.
